BREAKING: Missing Upstate NY Teen’s Body Is Found By Fisherman 3 Months After She Disappeared

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – On Monday, the Schenectady Police Department confirmed that the body found on February 22 in the Mohawk River belonged to Samatha Humphrey.

Her remains were retrieved from the same spot where police had previously looked. Humphrey’s family has been notified, and investigations into her death are ongoing.

She was reported missing on November 26, 2022, after she was last seen visiting her ex-boyfriend, and authorities have conducted several searches since then.

The police are currently awaiting additional autopsy results.

Humphrey’s body was found inside a shopping cart, according to NewsChannel 13. That has not been confirmed by the police.
