ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Florida — A money carrier was shot in the head outside of a Publix supermarket Thursday afternoon.
The victim is a 25-year-old male, local reports said.
A Loomis armored truck was seen outside the store.
From News13: “Investigators said a male suspect was picked up by a gold Nissan Maxima, which was later found abandoned at an apartment complex. Police did not immediately identify the suspect, but said he was a dark-skinned male who was caught on surveillance images.”
Three other people were taken to the hospital due to shock, police said.
The scene is at State Route 436 and Palm Springs Drive.
The condition of the victim is not known. It’s also unclear if a suspect is in custody.
