Eight people have been reported as injured after an explosion a Mexico city restaurant.
Russia Today reports that the blast was a gas explosion, this was confirmed by the city’s mayor who also urged residents to leave the area.
Photographs that have emerged on social media show the extent of the damaged caused to local businesses.
This comes exactly one year after a gas truck exploded outside of a Mexico City hospital which left two people dead.
The city’s ambulance services are on the scene and are actively treating the injured.
