BREAKING NEWS: Jamestown Community College Cancels All Actives After Terroristic Threat

Jamestown, NY — Jamestown Community College have announced they have shut down all of their activities for the remainder of the day after police reported a person called in a terroristic threat.

Police reported that just before 14:00 an unknown white male had phoned in making a threatening call from the Pendergast Library in Jamestown.

A police investigation has revealed that the man was wearing a yellow poncho and a blue knit hat with dark colored jeans while making the phone call, he then proceeded to walk towards the downtown area.

Jamestown Community College issued a message on their website, which announced that they would be cancelling all activities on Friday due to a potential threat against the campus.

In the message, they also announced that non-essential personal and all students should leave the campus.

This is an ongoing investigation and police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man, anyone with information is asked to call the police at  (716) 483-7537.
