NEW YORK CITY — BROOKLYN — EASTERN PKWY @ UTICA AVE —
A New York City Police Department Officer was assaulted while attempting to take a suspect into custody at the train station at Eastern Parkway, according to multiple reports.
The suspect allegedly punched the Officer in the face and fled the scene. Reports are unconfirmed.
The Officer sustained minor injuries.
The Officer was taken to Methodist Hospital, JPUpdates.com reported.
