NEW YORK — An o-ff-duty NYPD police officer was shot in the Bronx Thursday afternoon. According to multiple reports, the gunshot was self-inflicted.
The scene has been secured at 3363 Sedgwick Avenue near Giles Place, in the confimes of the 50 Precinct.
The officer was pronounced dead on the scene, and was not transported to a hospital pending an investigation.
