LAS VEGAS — Investigators have arrested and charged Mose Bennett, 23, in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Tony Munns at a child’s birthday party.
On October 17, 2015 at 8:27 p.m., LVMPD patrol officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Kari Lee Court to investigate several reports of shots being fired.
Responding officers located a black male adult near the stairwell of an apartment with multiple gunshot wounds. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the male deceased.
The investigation initiated by the LVMPD Homicide Section indicated that an argument occurred inside an apartment during a child’s party. The disagreement escalated when shots were fired.
This is the 101st homicide investigated by the LVMPD in 2015. The cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Today, homicide detectives arrested 23-year old Mose Bennett in connection with this incident.
Bennett was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Clark County Detention Center, and booked for the charges of Open Murder and Possession of Stolen Property (Firearm).
Detectives continue to seek information about a second unidentified suspect who may have been involved with this incident.
