CONROE, TEXAS — An Officer with the Conroe Police Department shot a shoplifting suspect inside of a Walmart on Monday. The scene is at Highway 105 at Walden Road.
According to KTRK, the Officer witnessed the suspect point a gun at an employee, fearing for the safety of the employees and other patrons, he fired.
The suspect was struck in the shoulder and taken to the hospital. The injuries were non-life threatening.
The suspect’s gun turned out to be an Air-soft or BB pistol.

It’s unclear what charges will be filed. Police have yet to comment.
