TEXAS — Police were responding to reported gunfire in Floresville Wednesday night—near the site of a vigil Vice President Mike Pence is attending.
The shots fired call is located in the 1800 block of 5th Street.
CBS Austin reported: Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt tells us they are looking for someone, but cannot confirm if this is an active shooter situation. However, he did say “it could be a BB gun.”
No victims have been found. Pence is scheduled to arrive shortly to attend a vigil for the victims of the Sutherland Springs Church shooting.
Security is tight at the event.
