Grants Pass, Oregon — Rogue Community College in Grants Pass was evacuated due to a bomb threat Monday afternoon.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety received a threat via 911 of possible explosive devices at the Rogue Community College Campus. Police believe this was directed at the Redwood Campus and law enforcement is addressing the issue.
The RCC campuses in Medford and in White City are being evacuated as a precautionary measure.
The college posted the following alert on Facebook: “A bomb threat has been received on the REDWOOD Campus. Law Enforcement is investigating. Evacuate campus immediately. Do not wait at an on campus transit stop. Take purses, backpacks and cell phones, leave other items behind. LEAVE campus entirely until further notice. If off campus, DO NOT ENTER.”
No injuries were reported.
The source of the threat is not known at this time.
