A Russian SU-27 jet has intercepted a US Navy spy plane that was travelling over the Black Sea, US officials confirmed.
US Defense officials confirmed that there were multiple interactions between the two aircraft.
They went on to state that the intercept by the Russian jet was unsafe and unprofessional.
The Black Sea is a body of water between Southeastern Europe and Western Asia, bounded by Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
