NEW YORK — At least three civilians and two NYPD officers were injured in a shooting incident in Crown Heights, Brooklyn Tuesday night—and a suspect is dead.
The gunfire rang out at the New York City Housing Authority’s Kingsborough homes around 9 p.m. local time.
According to sources, a gunman started shooting for unknown reasons and was taken out by responding officers.
The two injured officers are expected to survive. It was unclear if they sustained gunshots or were injured in another manner.
