LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas police responded to reports of gunfire at Ed Von Tobel Middle School Monday, prompting the school to be placed on lockdown.
The incident, which was reported at around 12:38 p.m., is still active, although there appears to be no active threat at the moment, according to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
One adult was struck by gunfire and was immediately taken to UMC — condition unknown.
The suspect is currently at large, and police have said that the school will remain on lockdown while the investigation continues.
