#BREAKING: Suspicious Death Ruled Homicide, Son Of Victim Charged With Murder -CT.

    NEW BRITAIN, CT> — On March 21, 2015 members of the New Britain Police Department Criminal Investigation Division obtained an arrest warrant for Antoine Greene DOB 12/10/82 of 50 Short St. 1st floor New Britain , CT charging him with one count of Murder. Antoine Greene was taken into custody at police headquarters without incident.

    The arrest of Greene stems from a March 21, 2015 incident at 50 Short St 1st floor. Officers were dispatched to that address on an assist medic call and located an unresponsive male victim within the apartment. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his death was deemed suspicious in nature at that time.

    On March 22, 2015 the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the victim’s cause of death was sharp force injury of neck and the manner of death was certified as Homicide.
    The victim has been identified as William Greene DOB 4/19/55 of 50 Short St. 1st floor New Britain, CT. The victim, William Greene, is the father of Antoine Greene.
    The New Britain Police Department is continuing to investigate this homicide and has been assisted by the Connecticut State Police, the Connecticut Medical Examiner’s Office and the New Britain State’s Attorney’s Office.
    Antoine Greene is being held on a $1,000,000 Court Set Bond and is due to be arraigned in New Britain Superior Court on Monday March 23, 2015.
