OSAGE COUNTY, OK – First responders were on the scene of a bad crash at the ranch belonging to Celebrity chef Ree Drummond and her husband, Ladd on Wednesday.
Local media says two vehicles collided head-on while working a raging 200-acre grass fire at the Drummond Ranch. During the accident, a 21-year-old firefighter was ejected from the vehicle–he was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
The two others involved are identified as 21-year-old Caleb Drummond and 52-year-old Ladd Drummond. Thick smoke and dust are believed to be to blame for the crash.
According to News On 6, quoting Osage County Emergency Management Director Jerry Roberts, each vehicle only had one firefighter in it and they collided on each truck’s driver side. The firefighters are also employees at the ranch.
Ladd Drummond was not seriously injured.
