CALIFORNIA — Multiple pedestrians were hit by a truck in San Francisco Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. local time at Geary Boulevard and 21st Avenue, fire officials said.
At least 7 people were injured—two seriously and one life-threatening.
Four ambulances rushed to the scene and residents were asked to avoid the area.

The two serious injuries have been sent to the TRUAMA center. Evaluating the 5 minor injuries. Some Victims are from the car, not all were pedestrians. On going scene AVOID AREA 355pm https://t.co/YFf0jRIBn0

It was not known if the act was intentional. Police are investigating.
