Two deputies were shot and injured in Knox County Monday afternoon, state police said.
Officers were attempting to serve an indictment warrant at a mobile home on KY-225 when they both were shot from inside the residence—both officers returned fire, killing the suspect.
Both deputies were airlifted to a hospital, one with serious injuries.
