Sky News’ Sean Dilley said police are currently involved in a “fast-moving situation” after receiving a “credible security threat”.
“We should say that West Midlands Police haven’t confirmed this to Sky News,” he said.
“But we have spoken to police officers from the area who confirmed two facts.
“The fact that officers have been called back to return to base, and also that they’ve been asked to watch out for each other when they are actually out on patrol.
“This is due, (according) to the sources we’ve spoken to, to a credible security threat.”
