CALIFORNIA — Police were investigating a social media threat made against California State University, Fresno on Monday.

The threat was made on the app Yik-Yak. The person threatened the shooting attack for 3 P.M.

Some classes were canceled as police investigated.

The alleged suspect has been identified as Christian Pryor, a freshman wide receiver at the school.

He has been charged with making a criminal threat, a felony. Pryor is being held on $20,000 bail.

The University sent out a Tweet saying, “Fresno State police are investigating a threat on social media. We will send an update on social media every 15 minutes.”

Earlier today, a threat was also made against ASU.

California State University, Fresno is a public comprehensive university and one of 23 campuses within the California State University system.
