WASHINGTON – The United States Capitol was briefly placed on evacuation notice Wednesday evening due to an ‘aircraft that poses probable threat,’ Capitol police said.
The alert was later redacted and officials said the alert was sent ‘out of an abundance of caution’ and there is ‘no threat.’
The Capitol was evacuated out of an abundance of caution this evening.

All people were being told by police to evacuate all buildings. Adding, “USCP is tracking an aircraft that poses a probable threat to the Capitol Complex.”
