ISRAEL — 2 terrorists armed with knives went on a stabbing rampage around 1 PM in Jerusalem leaving 2 dead.
A Rabbi for a Spanish learning program was killed from the incident. The Rabbi is being identified as Rav Revuein Biermacher. He was a father to 7 children. His family moved to Israel from France 2 years ago.
The other man, Ophir ben Ari, 40, was also killed. The father of 2 children, succumbed to his stabbing wounds after being rushed to the hospital.
Investigators have determined that police gunfire was responsible for the death of one of the men.
Two other victims of the attack remain in serious condition with multiple stab wounds from the attacks. Their names were not known.
The two terrorists, identified as Anan Abu-Habsa and Issa Assaf from east Jerusalem, were neutralized and killed. One died immediately, while the other was critically wounded and was evacuated to a hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds.
