VIDEO: Heavily Armed Police Surround Home In Manhunt For Prisoners In Upstate NY

WILLSBORO, New York — (Scroll Down For Video) —  Authorities may be closing in on the two escaped murderers from a New York State prison.

The New York Daily News is reporting that the two escaped murderers have been located 40 miles south of the Clinton Correctional Facility. The report said the suspects were “cornered.”

Officials are swarming the town of Willsboro after reports of two “suspicious” men in the area. Investigators believe the suspects are ‘on foot’ in the town, CNN reported.

A large a number of law enforcement officers are on Middle Road. Police there say they are looking for two suspicious subjects, and they won’t confirm if those subjects are in fact the escaped inmates, Matt and Sweat.

Willsboro is a town in Essex County, New York, in the United States, and lies thirty miles south of the city of Plattsburgh.

Richard Matt, 48 years old, a white male, 6’ tall, 210 pounds, with black hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on back “Mexico Forever”, a heart on his chest and left shoulder, and a Marine Corps insignia on his right shoulder.

David Sweat, 34 years old, white male, 5’11” tall, 165 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. He has tattoos on his left bicep and his right fingers.
