STOCKTON, Calif. — Police released bodycam footage from the deadly shooting that claimed the life of Stockton police officer Jimmy Inn in May 2021.
The video shows the 30-year-old police officer shot without warning while responding to a domestic call.
After the shooting, the suspect carried his 8-year-old son outside and started strangling him.
A heroic bystander tackled the suspect while a second officer moved in and shot the suspect.
Both the suspect and the officer died.
