MADISON COUNTY, Ala. – Emergency responders and law enforcement were at the scene of a deadly helicopter crash in the vicinity of Highway 53 and Burwell Road in Madison County on Wednesday.
According to Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc., there were no survivors. Although, the number of individuals on board was unclear.
Video captured the moment of the crash.
The helicopter involved in the crash is a UH-60 Black Hawk, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
To facilitate the response, the Madison County Sheriff’s Office has closed Alabama 53 between Jeff Road and Douglas Road, and motorists should avoid the area and expect significant delays.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
