NEW YORK — On Monday morning, NYPD police officers responded to a 911 call at 640 West 153rd Street apt C6A, within the confines of the 30th Precinct.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 36-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive on the living room floor and her unresponsive 4-year-old son in the bathtub.
EMS also responded and pronounced both deceased at the scene.
According to the New York Post, the woman had an electrical cord around her neck and the baby died of drowning.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of the death.
Identities were not immediately released.
