Lawrenceville, Georgia — Gwinnett County Police are investigating a homicide on the 800 Block of James Road in Lawrenceville. Police were called to the scene around 1 p.m. by a home owner who discovered a deceased black female in a plastic storage bin in the front yard.
The victim is showing the beginning signs of decomposition and police say there is no known age range at this time. The victim was transported to the location and dumped in the front yard.
Police are attempting to identify who the person and notify their next of kin.
The medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death.
