New York, New York—Index crimes continue to decline in New York City. When comparing 2015 through October 31st, versus the same period in 2014, crime is down 3.1 percent or 2,817 fewer crimes, the NYPD said.

A person has been shot on Miller Avenue & Hegman Avenue. The NYPD is on the scene and is requesting a Level 1 Mobilization response, as well as ESU to the scene. The condition of the victim is unknown.
