Fontana, CA — On 3-7-18 at about 4:40 am, officers responded to a to a call of a stabbing that occurred in the 15300 block of Palm Leaf Ln. Upon arrival officers found a male and a female suffering from stab wounds to the upper torso area. Officers learned that the victims were staying with the suspect, identified as Neilaris Castro (45), when an altercation happened between Castro and the female victim. The male victim (father of the female) went to intervene,at which time, Castro is suspected of stabbing both the male and female. Castro then fled the scene.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently in surgery and the female victim was treated at the scene for non life threatening injuries.
Castro was taken into custody at10:00 am after returning to his residence.
