Pasadena, CALIF. — A Pasadena man was charged with killing his 67-year-old mother at the home they shared.
Alex Edward Evans, 30, faces one count of murder with an allegation of using a knife as a deadly and dangerous weapon.
On Sept. 24, officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of North Mentor Avenue and found the victim, identified in the criminal complaint as Katrina E, who died from multiple stab wounds, prosecutors said.
Police revealed no motive for the attack.
Evans faces 26 years to life in state prison if convicted as charged. Bail is scheduled at more than $2 million.
