BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) –
Meet Depot the cat. She has lived at the Home Depot in Bluffton for 13 years and now management says she’s got to go.

Employees told WTOC has become a part of Home Depot. The feline has been living inside the store for more than a decade. She even greets them when they first open the doors in the morning.

Depot’s favorite place to roam is the garden section, but her adventuresome personality has now caught up with her. Home Depot officials say she’s becoming a problem because she sets off the alarms at night, as WTOC’s Elizabeth Rawlins reported on Saturday.

There is even a petition that was started online that has reached 750 signatures. But according to Home Depot officials, they aren’t kicking her to the curb until they find someone to adopt her.

If you would like to adopt Depot, contact the Bluffton Home Depot at 843.815.7000.
