Gurgaon, India – Lightning struck four horticulture staffers in the city of Gurugram last Friday.
Intense footage of the incident shows the four men standing under a tree to shield the rain when lightning hits.
Krishan Kumar, an investigation officer told IANS, “A police team rushed to the spot soon after the information was received. The victims have been admitted to two different hospitals and are undergoing treatment. Prima facie it seems lightning struck on them. Further investigation into the matter is on.”
Local media initially reported that all of those involved survived the strike. Now there are multiple reports that one person died.
