NEW YORK CITY — Matthew Tivy, chef at Manhattan’s Café Du Soleil, was arrested and charged by the FBI after he allegedly had sex with a Bronx high school student.

Tivy, who has appeared on the Food Network, is accused of distributing explicit photos and videos of teens from New Jersey, Florida and Ohio, WABC reported.

The chef was arrested in May and the FBI seized his cell phone.

The 54-year-old allegedly met the teen boy on the app Grindr. They met in a Best Buy parking lot and both filmed each other having sex.

Tivy later texted the teen, saying: ‘Even though you were very bad not to tell how young you are haha but I didn’t mind,’ according to the complaint.

In another text message, the restaurateur stated: ‘I’ve been with a high school guy before so it’s cool.’

Per Daily Mail: According to the documents, Tivy admitted to the crime online, bragging to his friends on the app Kik that he had sex in his car with a high school sophomore.

‘I have one kid that I f***ed in my car. He’s a high school sophomore.

In addition to the sexual abuse of a minor charge, Tivy is suspected of victimizing at least five other underage youths from Florida, Ohio and New Jersey by distributing sexually explicit photos and videos.

He was arrested around 6 a.m. by FBI agents without incident. He will be in federal court in Manhattan later Thursday.

Tivy appeared on the Food Network show “Chef Du Jour.”
