AURORA, Colo. (APD) – An Aurora woman has been arrested on murder charges following the discovery of a clandestine grave in the crawl space of her condo.

Casie Bock, 29, was arrested Tuesday night and booked into the Aurora Jail on one charge of accessory to homicide. She is being held without bond pending her first appearance in court.

The charge stems from Monday when the Aurora Police Department received a Crime Stoppers tip about a homicide that occurred an estimated six to eight months ago inside a condo in the 14600 block of E. 2nd Avenue. The tip stated the victim, a 36-year-old man who had been missing since summer 2022, was buried in a crawl space and covered in concrete.

Aurora police officers initially responded to follow-up on the tip. Major Crimes Homicide Unit detectives later obtained a search warrant for the apartment and discovered the concealed grave under the floor.

Detectives are working with outside contractors to carefully recover the body. The excavation process is estimated to last through the end of the week.

Haskel Leroy Crawford, 38, was also arrested \on one charge of first-degree murder. As of Thursday morning, Crawford was in the Jefferson County Jail on $100,000 bond. He faces homicide charges there in an unrelated incident.

The identity of the victim is not being released, as investigators await confirmation and notifications of next of kin. The victim’s identity, as well as an official cause and manner of death will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
