When Officers arrived they encountered a women who kicked the door down at police. After Officers entered the home, they found the girl with a stab wound to the abdomen, police say.
The child was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Police say the 27-year-old mother of the child was arrested for felonious assault and child endangering.
