Colts Linebacker D’Qwell Jackson Assaults Pizza Delivery Driver

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Jackson was charged with assault Tuesday afternoon after allegedly getting into a physical fight with a pizza delivery driver over a parking spot.

Police arrested Jackson in Washington, D.C., around 8 p.m. after they responded to a call about a disturbance, theĀ Indianapolis Star reports.

Jackson, 31, allegedly became angry with the delivery driver after he took the spot, telling the football player he only planned to use it momentarily.

The linebacker then reportedly punched the driver in the face and on the back of his head, according to WJLA.

Jackson was taken into custody and released that same evening and was told to appear in court at a later date.


 

D’Qwell Jackson is an American football linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League.

He was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
