Video posted online showing a NYPD officer detain a man has some New Yorkers outraged.
In the footage below, a cop with a taser is seen approaching a man who was walking toward the officers who were arresting people for violating social distancing rules.
“Move the fuck back right now!” the officer says. “What you flexing for? Don’t flex!”
The unidentified cop then takes the man to the ground and punches him and kneeling on his head.
The NYPD says they are investigating the incident.
“It started out as a social distancing enforcement,” Commissioner Dermot Shea said. “I am aware of the video that’s out there.”
