Camden, N.J. – A Somerdale man has been charged after detectives executed a search warrant at his home and located images of child sexual exploitation, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer and Somerdale Police Chief James Walsh.

Maxwell Sanchez, 25, of Somerdale, has been charged with one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU), Somerdale Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) – Cherry Hill Office, and Camden County Sheriff’s Department SERT Team executed a search warrant at Sanchez’s home on the 400 block of North Warwick Road on March 12. Law enforcement responded to the address after receiving information that someone at the residence possessed images of child exploitation material on one of their social media accounts.

While performing an on-site search of devices at the home, detectives located the images. More digital devices were collected for further testing.

Sanchez was taken to the Somerdale Police Department where he was processed and released under conditions pending further court proceedings.
