MICHIGAN — A 58-year-old Detroit man died in a single-car accident Sunday near Interstate 75. According to the Smoking Gun, Ray Jones was not wearing pants and investigators believe he was distracted by watching a porn movie on his cell phone.
Jones “lost control of the car, which overturned. Jones, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected through the car’s sun roof and died on the scene,” the report said.
The accident happened around 3:00 a.m.
CBS News reports: Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw said it’s the strangest thing he’s ever encountered on the roadway.
“We see people putting on makeup, we see people doing different things as far as hygiene, as far as reading books, it’s almost to the fact there’s so much technology out there a lot of people are more paying attention to what they’re doing other than driving their cars,” Shaw said.
Michigan State Police did not provide any further details.
