COUNTERFEIT WARNING: NYPD Arrest 2 People Selling DOZENS Of Fake Tickets To Super Bowl XLVIII

On Monday, January 27, 2014 investigators with the NYPD’s Organized Crime Investigation Division arrested two individuals for the manufacture and sale of fraudulent tickets to major sporting events, including Super Bowl XLVIII. The suspects, 43-year-old Damon Daniels and 32-year-old Eugene Fladger, were taken into custody inside a White Castle restaurant located at 1831 Webster Avenue, in the confines of the 46th Precinct. The joint investigation with the Queen’s District Attorney’s Office and the NFL’s Security Division included the purchase or potential sale of 79 counterfeit tickets and parking passes – including 36 Super Bowl tickets – to various events for approximately $10,000.
