NEW YORK — **UPDATE: The NYPD is denying the report posted here and by WPIX.**
Officials in New York City are reportedly scrambling in response to a “Credible Threat” against the city.
NYPD Commissioner Bratton issued a bulletin to all Officers, advising them of the threat and reminding them to be vigilant.
WPIX reported, citing federal sources, “the threat is not specific and could take place in several major U.S. cities.”
There will be an increased police presence in Manhattan. The threat comes days before Christmas as thousands of tourists are visiting the city.
