A father facing life in prison for burning his sons to death in an insurance ploy has recently claimed he was pressured into an admission.

The Argyle, Wisconsin man earlier confessed to agents agents that he and his brother arranged to burn his family to death in a fire in order to collect insurance money.

He and his brother allegedly set the Wand family home on fire as the family slept on September 7, 2014.

The two brothers had reportedly lit paper on fire in the living room near the wall socket for the television in order to fake an electrical fire. Wand also told agents that agents that he wanted to make a “fresh start.”

The fire killed his three young boys.

If a judge decides to grant Armin a new trial, he would have the opportunity chance to have his three life sentences reduced or overturned.
