DC cops release video of alleged suspects in murder of boxing legend Buddy Harrison, Jr.

WASHINGTON – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects in reference to a homicide that occurred on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in the 2700 block of 30th Street, Southeast.

At approximately 11:34 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as 62-year-old Arthur “Buddy” Harrison, Jr., of Southeast, DC.

Detectives believe the victim was targeted.
