BALTIMORE — On Saturday, at 11:25 p.m., Southwestern District officers responded to 2201 Wilkens Avenue for report of a shooting. That location is the Starlight Liquor Store.

Upon arrival, they located a 19 year-old female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to an area hospital where she remains in critical conditions.

Through investigation, our detectives have learned that the person shot in this case entered the store with another unknown individual, brandished a handgun and announced a robbery.

At this time, one of the store employees produced a handgun and fired it, striking the suspect multiple times. The other robbery suspect fled the scene and still remains at large.
