Three MetroTrain-cars bound for Los Angeles derailed after colliding with a truck Tuesday.
The truck was completely set ablaze.
The driver of a truck involved in the wreck fled the scene, KTLA reported but was later located and taken into custody about a mile away, Oxnard fire Battalion Chief Sergio Martinez told CNN.It’s not clear why he ran.
There are at least 30 people injured and there have been reports of one fatality but that has not been confirmed.
The crash was reported at 5:44 a.m. Tuesday, according to the AP.
