UPDATE: Both flights have landed safely
BELGIUM — Belgian broadcaster VRT is reporting ‘bomb alerts’ on two flights bound for the Brussels Airport.
The flights affected by the threat were not known.
Authorities were on scene awaiting the arrival. Officials told VRT, the “threat is serious enough to take action.”
Brussels Airport is an international airport northeast of Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
