**UPDATE** Curtis Smith, the man accused of jumping the White House fence is dead after attack at Chesco Courthouse.

The man reportedly attacked Deputies with a knife before being shot and killed by Officers.

Smith, 33, was arrested in March after he allegedly scaled a stone perimeter fence near 15th and E streets on the east side of the White House, according to a release from the Secret Service. Smith was immediately taken into custody by uniformed Secret Service officers.

Initial report: At least one person was shot at the Chester County District Justice Center at 201 W Market St. in West Chester, Pennsylvania, according to multiple reports.

The condition of the injured is unknown.

The situation is ‘neutralized,’ police told NBC Philly.

A witness told 6ABC: “I seen one guy get wheeled out on a stretcher, and a police officer also get wheeled out on a stretcher.”

It’s unclear what provoked the shooting. The building is on lockdown.
