LA MIRADA, Calif. — Deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were investigating a felony hit-and-run with multiple victims near an elementary school Wednesday.
The scene is at Escalona Elementary School — 15135 Escalona road.

Roads in the area were blocked off due to the investigation.
Police did not say how many victims were involved. It was unclear if a suspect was in custody.
