INDIANAPOLIS – The Marion County Coroner’s Office is investigating after boaters find a body in the White River.
Detectives preliminary believe that the victim is a male and have discovered a distinctive tattoo on the victim’s back that reads “Only God Can Judge Me”.
Detectives are hoping that someone may recognize the location and statement of this tattoo, and that will help with identification of the victim.
Just before 9:00 a.m., officers were sent to N. White River Pkwy W Dr and W New York St on a body in the White River. The Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD) and IMPD responded and discovered what appeared to be a torso of a male. IFD removed the unidentified body and brought it to the river banks.
No identification or information is available including race, age or how the body ending up in the water.

Presently the Marion County Coroner’s Office will investigate this case until a determination is made on cause and manner of death.
