Man Shot in Truck Dies at Hospital, Police Search for Shooter

Pensacola, Florida -- Sheriff's Deputies say two brothers, 34-year-old Aaron Lee Durning and Daniel Lee Durning, 28, have been arrested in Marion County Florida in connection with the killing of a woman at a hotel.

CALIFORNIA — A Stockton man was shot by a suspect while sitting in his truck. The victim later died at the hospital. Police are searching for suspects.

This morning at 12:50 am, a 57 year old man was inside a vehicle when the suspect approached him at the passenger side of the vehicle in the area of Lincoln Street and MLK Blvd.

After a short exchange of words between the suspect and the 57 year old man, the suspect struck him and then shot him. The suspect then pointed the gun at the reporting party.

A second suspect took the RPs keys and tossed them into the bed of histruck. The 57 year old man was transported to a local hospital by the reporting party for treatment. The 57 year old man has died at the hospital. Homicide Detectives have been called in for the investigation.

The suspects were described as: an African-American man, 30 to 40 years old, 6’00” / 195 lbs., last seen wearing a green jacket, black shirt and black jeans; and an African-American man, 35 to 40 years old, 5’10” to 6’00” / 200-250 lbs., last seen wearing a plain white t-shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
