CHAPARRAL, New Mexico — New Mexico State Police were on the scene of a major crash involving a military vehicle and a minivan Friday.
At least one person was killed and several others were wounded when the vehicles collided on State Highway 213 near Chaparral.
According to KVIA, the incident happened ‘when the military vehicle reportedly rolled into the path of the minivan.’
State Highway 213 was closed in both directions near the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
